A dwarf hummingbird

To develop this activity about thinking about what a bird would look like in 500 years, I decided to choose the Hummingbird as a bird. I have always been attracted by how fast they can fly, their very bright colors and also how small they are. Now, I imagine that in 500 years this bird will evolve to a much smaller size than it is now (a little bigger than a spider) and in the future many of the flowers on which they feed will be extinct and not having the necessary nectar to feed, their size will decrease. In the same way, and despite their small size, hummingbirds will have wings almost three times their size to be able to travel faster and travel greater distances in search of food. Finally, I consider that this bird will also develop a symbiotic beak with plastic due to the high contamination that will occur in the future.
